So, my first week of classes was survived. I have 16 units. This is a three day weekend, but still I have to study. I have a test on Tuesday for Japanese 2.

These are my class notes as of this week:

Japanese 1 covered how to say sentences politely. Japanese 2 will cover how to speak informally with friends or others.

You would simply change the polite endings from Japanese 1 to the formal endings from Japanese 2.

金曜日 に 日本人 のともだち と こうえん に いきます。 こうえん で ともだち とはなします。 それから、レストラン へいきました。たくさん たべました。

日曜日は おそく おきました。 おかあさん も おそく おきました。わたしは あさ テレビ を みました。それから、おかあさん と ひる ごはん を たべました。ごご は 日本語を べんきょうしました。本 も よみました。

Friday, my japanese friend and I go to the park. I talk with my friend at the park. And then, I went to a restaurant.I ate a lot.

Saturday, I went to the temple alone. There were many shops. I bought a sweet bun.

Sunday, I got up late. Mom also got up late. I watched tv in the morning. And then, mom and I ate lunch. In the afternoon I studied. I also read a book.

 I have to translate this paragraph in the book, and down after, are some blanks to fill:

わたしはまいにち 七時 に おきます。 うちであさごはんをたべます。 八時にだいがくへいきます。九時ににほんごを べんきょうします。 十二時半に だいがく で ひるごはんをたべます。ときどき  コーヒー をのみます。 四時に としょかんでほんを よみます。六時 ごろうちへかえります。十時にテレビ を みます。 十二時ごろねます。

She wakes up everyday at 7. At home she eats breakfast in the morning. At 8 she goes to college.At 9 she studies the Japanese language. At 12:30 she eats lunch at school. Sometimes she drinks coffee. At 4 she reads books at the library. At 6 she returns home. At 10 she watches tv. At 12 she goes to bed.

The grey and pink highlighted parts are those which change due to the sentence either being a positive or negative sentence.  The red highlighted endings are those that are present and positive. The orange highlighted endings are those that are present yet negative. The yellow highlighted endings are those which are in the past and positive. Lastly, the green highlighted endings are that which represent past- negative. The blue highlighted word represents adjectives, the form of an adjective can change when the tense of the sentence changes!

Lately, although I haven't done much bloging, I have still studied Japanese. I wrote this for my Japanese Language classmates and posted it on facebook. This was to remind them to study hard if they are going to japanese two.

Be careful!/ Take Care

It's been sometime, that I have neglected my poor blogs. I am still waiting for my charger to come in the mail. That way, I may have the comfort of using my computer. I have written down my blog. It's a basic covering of chapter one, in my textbook.

This chapter covers such terms as: Occupations, small terms, Majors, and Family.

Some words in this paragraph, I will have to study the Kanji version.

A New Start- Day #1

Hey,

Since this is my first post, I will write this in English. My goal for this blog is to be able to write about my day or thoughts in Japanese as much as I can. I finished Japanese 1 last semester, and will be doing Japanese 2 next semester as well. It's been my dream forever to learn Japanese since I was about in the first or second grade. I loved the culture immensely, and they have such a magical way about the way they do animation and story telling- it's unique as a country. Someday, I will go to Japan. I just have to discover it and see what it's all about.

I know a bit of Japanese, but I am willing to do a lot just to speak Japanese fluently! :) The next few post will be towards writing as much as I can in Japanese. I cannot say that my Japanese will be 100% correct, but I will work my hardest to be as correct as I can. I will try to include pictures and everything! So this will be a nicely decorated blog too!
